Starch is either linear [glucose] units linked together or branched [glucose] units linked
together. Amylose/amylopectin respectively.
In order to link an H2O molecule is removed
creating [glu]-[glu]-etc.
[glu] may also be derived from:
maltose=[glu]-[glu] or
sucrose=[glu]-[fructose].
