1. A restriction endonuclease 'cuts' two DNA molecules at the same location. What can you assume is identical about the molecules at that location?

Their number of base pairs.

2. If the dye had been DNA what could you do with this information?

You could 'splice' DNA into that part of the strand.

3. How can I set up an electrophoresis gel If I didnt know whether my molecule was positively or negatively charged?

You'd put the molecule into the center of the gel and run it horizontally. If it goes away from your negative side, then it is negtive. If it runs towards it, then it is positive.

4. Suppose an individual has a nutrient deficiency due to poor diet and is missing a particular amino acid. Which process of protein synthesis would be more affected? WHy??!?!

I have no clue.
