How long does it take not for full digestion, but for your stomache to start breaking the food down. How long does it take for the chemicals in the food to enter the blood stream.
Thanks a lot. I would appreciate a good informative answer but not too complicated as I am no good at Biology.

It seems that EVOLUTION is a stupid theory if it is based on an exhausted and comprenhensive lab works, detailed testing, and from mathematical prognosis of the possibilty of its realization. The Only way possible for evolution to exists are through story telling and imagining. So, Is EVOLUTION theory a stupid "scientific" theory, BUT has a GOOD STORY line MAKING multi million dollar grant?

Just because the earth is billions of years old, doesn't mean that evolution is true. The bible talks about the earth being created in six days. A "day" could be taken to mean alot of things.

Also, if evolution is true, and there is no God, then why can't scientists create life in laboratories. ALL attempts at this have failed.

Why are scientists trying to figure out the mysteries of life when EVERYTHING we really need is in the bible?

I'm a girl. I have facial and physical features that are considered very feminine but I have mental traits and interests that are stereotypically masculine-technical and systematic and less touchy-feely. I don't feel naturally sympathetic. I mean, I act sweet to people and paste a fake grin on my face but I'd rather do stuff like fish, play games, read and do hobbies than sit around and giggle, hold hands and shop at the mall. I just feel like I think more like a guy and they seem more interested in what I have to say. I also like satire and irony which girls don't seem to get. Girls really don't seem as interested, if I want to have a deep conversation they just pretend to be interested even though I can tell they're bored. I'm pursuing majors and minors in Natural Resources, Language, History, and Philosophy whereas most girls seem to want to be nurses, teachers and counselors.

When we isolate RNA, we add acidic phenol so that DNA will go to the phenol phase and RNA keep in water phase. So both they are acid nucleic, why they have different characteristics? Addition, DNA can't be soluble in basic phenol. What is the role of pH here?
Thank you!
