deamination is the removal of the amine (-NH2) group from an amino acid, resulting in the formation of ammonia. this helps remove excess amino acids from the body.

DEAMINATION is the separation of NH2 from the excess/surplus of amino acid. This process takes place in our liver, where this process products amonia (NH3) to be expelled with urine.
