your heart beats all the time, every day, well, til you die.

1. why doesnt it get fatigued, after all it is a muscle
2. if you are unfit, then do arm excercises, you ache the next day, why is it , that if you suddenly start running alot, you dont get an achey heart

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this one. I know that ribosomes are responsible for protein transcription but I don't get how they do it.

Can someone either explain in simple terms how exactly they do it (not something like "they just do") and I do mean HOW they do it, or point me in the direction of a page that does?

what is it about the african environment that has made black people stronger? generally they have 20% more muscle than white people. why would a white person adapt to the european environment by having less muscle? it doesnt make sense to me. the same applies to asian people - who tend to have less muscle than whites and blacks. any explanations for this?

(not a racist question, just curious about the development and adaptation of humanity. this is science!)

When running an agarose gel electrophoresis of a DNA plasmid with different restriction enzymes how do you determine the molecular weights of the fragments generated from each of the digest reactions?
