I would like to open a DNA forensic science lab. Do i need to get a degree? where do i get a degree? how long will it take?
I would appreciate any good guides

depends on the fact that will you work in the lab.........if yes then definitely you have to get a degree in molecular biology or medicine.............and it takes at least 5 years (in EU for sure).........on the other hand you can hire scientists ;)

In Europe you'd need a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and at least a Master's degree in Forensic science, a lot of top labs would require a PhD.

In the UK that would be a minimum of 6 years (3 years for your Bachelors and if you do well enough another 3 years minimum for aPhD)

its not csi Miami you need a degree, internships, and if you want to run a lab you have to get your doctorate

you need lots of education and many years of experience. try talking with some colleges to see if they offer what your looking for.
