i remember hearing something like this in national geographic(or discovery channel)
cow milk has more protein which makes their calf develop muscles and grow up rapidly... monkey milk has more sugar to help develop the brain.

then i remembered that my classmate and all of his siblings are really intelligent. and they grew up next to a sugar refinery plant... mabe there's a lot of sugar in the air(which smells noticeably sweet).. :)

none of the so called scientific fact actually make sense. Granted what scientists say seem convincing, but there are so many holes in their theories when you actually dig down into them. They only say that evolution exists because its the common idea in the country.
Even if you talk to the leading scientists today they will tell you that they can't prove evolution is an accurate way of nature...they only keep accepting it because its the most politicaly correct thing out there; and politicians my friend are not the best people to have tell us how we came into being on this earth!!!

I'm 50 and others are very, very often stunned to learn of this as they thought that I was 36 or 41. I've experienced this reaction dozens of times. These comments come from work associates, store clerks, new acquaintences, men I met for dating etc. Gift or not ? That is not my question . . . I am wondering scientifically what would cause a person to age so slowely ? Family genes are of course there, but what is that gene? Any medical or science 'brains' out there know ? Authentic answers only please.

Dinosaurs ruled the earth, and then were extincted by an environmental change/disaster. We humans seem like we're about to extinct ourselves through environmental disaster next.

Of the species that might survive that environmental meltdown, which one do you think might evolve into the next dominant species, some time long later?

Serious answers are welcome. So are silly ones. Make me laugh or make me think.

For these two, it's either true or false, and I'm having a melt down with it :

True/False : Nervous tissue contracts
True/False : An organ consists of different tissues that carry out a specific function.

And one last one,

What are the parts of a long bone, and what is the functions of each?

And help would be appreciated, or a link of some sort to the information =)

What's happening in our brain? How can a thought or fact be retained in a mass of protoplasm? What changes in the neurons when we retain a thought or when we forget it?

Also, if a person doesn't know any language, can he think? Because generally even when we're thinking, we use a particular language.

I cloned an HA tag on the N-terminus of a vector and I sequence verified and concluded that the tag was there. And I also verified everything like the promoter was correctly in the vector and further more there is no frameshift. I transfected cells and I used an HA antibody to see my protein but the blot was blank!!! Just to make sure I used the original antibody of the actuall protein to locate it and it was clearly there! So what is going wrong. My protein is 55kda. Can an HA tag be cloned in an N-terminus? Can an HA tag form a secondary structure inhibiting antibody connection. Does cloning an HA tag make the protein insoluable with certain lysis buffers?
