For these two, it's either true or false, and I'm having a melt down with it :

True/False : Nervous tissue contracts
True/False : An organ consists of different tissues that carry out a specific function.

And one last one,

What are the parts of a long bone, and what is the functions of each?

And help would be appreciated, or a link of some sort to the information =)

False--nervous tissue does not contract
True--Organs are made up of tissues for specialized functions (tissues are made of specialized cells).

Epiphysis – the end of a long bone
Diaphysis – the shaft of the bone
Periosteum – fibrous tissue that covers the bone
Medullary Cavity – hollow chamber in the compact bone of the diaphysis
