I heard under the microscope they look the same. Also heard that during the blood shortage following 9-11. There was talk of using clean sea water mixed with blood to stretch the supply.

I would think so but don't know if the mouse suffers being trapped before it dies. This way seems better than poison which could take a long time to kill and the body will smell later. Has a video camera ever been set up to record death in a mousetrap?
