The answers are B and C.

The pyruvate that is produced by glycolysis is converted to Acetyl-CoA. The Acetyl-CoA then reacts with the oxaloacetate which is produced in the cycle. The Krebs cycle produces 24 ATP.

While it produces energy, Krebs cycle also produces substrates like oxaloacetate, succinate, malate, alpha-ketoglutarate, etc., that could be needed to synthesize certain biological molecules.
