Oxygen is one big answer, we need it and plants produce it.

Food is another. Not just eating our fruits and vegetables, plants are the food makers for the world, using photosynthesis, capturing sunlight and using CO2 and H2O they make sugar, starch, proteins and fats. All animals need plants to survive.
