i'm just a layman and i realised that the quotes by scientists were taken out of context. i would like to know if anyone has done a point by point answer to this video full of pseudo-scientific clap trap.http://www.multimediaapologetics.com/multimediaapologetics-rev_10-24/Evolution_Video.html

are some people not bothering to read the question? i didn't ask whether evolution was valid or not, ( although i think it is). i asked whether there was a refutation of this junk offered as a denial of evolution.

I don't know about that particular video, but most of the standard creationist quote-mines are examined and debunked at the Quote Mine Project at: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/quotes/mine/project.html

I didnt get as far as the quotes from scientists taken out of context. I heard 'random chance' used a 2nd time and clicked out of it. Nobody who understands evolution says random chance has anything to do with it. Its a wilful and deliberate misunderstanding.

The fact is no creationist has ever managed to disprove the facts of evolution and there's a very good reason - and you can bet your *** its not for want of trying.

I wouldnt give a point to point answer because I'd feel I'd dirtied myself by listening to such foul ignorant trash. The fact that they say blind chance is totally false. Evolution is about mutation and death - the selection on different animals is not random at all. If it was you'd get genetic drift, not evolution at all.

If you're a religious person wanting to find the truth of how you got here then be aware that there are many religious people who accept the facts of evolution and are still believing christians. If you're not religious then I cant really imagine why you'd have such truck with such drivel - pick up Darwin's origin of species to read what he actually said which is nothing like how he is attacked in that ridiculous parody.

The fact that bible based ideas are not theories in the first place, and that the Bible actually does account for the fossil record (two accounts of "creation" in the original language) but the Bible Backed Bastards do not know how to read it is a huge argument in favour of evolution.
I am a Christian, have both science and theology degrees, and can say that from what I know, evolution holds to a great extent, and the Bible, though not a science text, has enough insight to accomodate the notion that the earth did indeed exist for billions of years... not a mere 10,000.

The 'proof' that evolution is false is so self -contradictory and full of unscientific faith based assumptions that it refutes itself.

Equally, there is no 'proof' that evolution is true. It is a scientific theory which is the best explanation for the observations so far made. If new observations are made which contradict existing theory that theory will be modified. Hence evolution is a scientific theory.

If fresh observations contradict creationist theories, those observations will be ignored by creationists who have already decided what is. This is unscientific.

It is easy to refute the claims of the hypothesis of evolution.

It's a shame that more people don't take a closer look at just what a tall story the evolutionists are telling.

Looks like the pseudo-intellectuals came out to say they've been blindly following what their science teachers and textbooks have been telling them all these years. To answer your question, it is easier for people to follow what they've been told then to actually question anything (which could go for the people that blindly follow the bible without questioning it too). Just don't lose your faith and believe what you know to be true. I don't think any of these avid weekend evolutionists that have answered your question have really read the Origin of Species.

Has anyone provided proof that creation was done by a divine being? If so, then you can refute evolution theory, otherwise, learn both and make your own judgement. Then come back and let us have a discussion.

Has anyone ever refuted the proof that evolution is TRUE?

What you link to is designed to "prove" one sides view of things, I could put links to many that show the other sides view.
