Let me explain... I know from my biology that when you inhale O2, the concentration of O2 in the air is higher than the concentration in the blood, so the O2 diffuses into the bloodstream. So, in theory, if you breathed in pure CO2 (otherwise than suffocating), would you exhale O2 because the concentration of O2 in the blood is higher than in the surrounding air?

Yesterday me and my friends were playing Halo for eight and a half hours and this morning I woke up with soreness in the front of my head and the back right of my head, but it wasn't on the outside that it hurt. I haven't played halo with them in quite some time either.

This made me wonder whether the brain worked just like every other muscle in that it got sore when used vigorously like in a workout.

So, does the brain get sore when used in such a way that can be considered a workout just like other muscles in the body get sore after a workout?

Who would want to take over our planet, aliens or animals including our own pets?

The point of the experiment was to determine what effect the plant (elodea) had on CO2 levels. In the experiment I got three test tubes. I filled each of them with BTB solution, which was an indicator to tell me how much carbon dioxide was left in the test tubes. The way that I know how much carbon dioxide is left is by looking at the color. Yellow meant it was rich in CO2 and Blue meant it was rich in O2. So then I added the plant to two of the test tubes, and the third one was left alone. Then i covered one of the plants with aluminum foil and I put all the test tubes in front of an open window. After an hour, I checked the test tubes. The one that didn't have a plant was blue. The one that was wrapped in foil was yellow and the one thatw wasn't wrapped was green-blue. all I know is that the one in the foil was the richest in CO2. But I don't understand why. I thought plants even water plants needed light to do photosynthesis. Now I have to write an introduction, including...

If we can call normal viruses life, they being just RNA covered with protein, no internal workings, and certainly no consciousness, then I think we ought to call computer viruses life as well.

They multiply, the can evolve, they defend themselves. What more does one need? Sure, they're not biological, but why is that important to the concept of life?
