I am right handed. But i find that it improves my concentration when i try and do things with my left hand

Right handed, but my grandfather was ambidextrous. He was right handed until he caught his right hand in a threshing machine (it was about 1904 and he was quite young). He had to pull hard or he would have lost his arm. The machine pulled his middle finger right out to the knuckle and his parents had to take him the four miles to hospital on the back of a horse and trap.

My kids are both left handed, but their father and I are right handed. Obviously nothing to do with genetics, then.
