What if every single person on Earth decides and falls into deep sleep at the exact same (relative) time and for one whole hour no one is awake on planet earth, what would happen?

Who would want to take over our planet, aliens or animals including our own pets?

If anything would take over the world if we were all asleep, I'd go with cockroaches...Nothing can kill them and they would be feared across the globe. Who likes cockroaches?

I don't think it would take everyone to fall a sleep for someone or something to take over the world, if they could do it they would do it when they like. I think the bigger concern is the massive destruction and death that would occur, think about it. If everyone would fall asleep, many would do it while driving, lots of death and destruction from crashes. No rescue response would be available. Think of all the fires that occur all over the world, no fire dept. available to help out. Think about what goes on in hospitals every hour. The list of what would all go wrong in this situation is endless. I think the world would be in pretty rough shape if what you propose would occur.

Some power would take over our dreams and we'd all dream that we'd woken up but really we would all carry on dreaming until we were all dead.

Then aliens would discover the planet and wonder what could have happened to the world they knew as Marie Celeste

There is a theory by naturalists which says that if every single person on the world closes their eyes at the same time Big Bang will reoccur. That's because they can't see the nature and so it will destroy itself. I know it's a little weird but it's true.

Nothing would happen at all. Everyone is asleep. The aliens would find us too boring to be noticed & our animals & pets would snuggle up to enjoy the peace & quiet.

For an hour, there could be little replace, different than for vehicle injuries, airplane crashes, prepare wrecks, and a few ships bashing into one yet another and piers! no longer something might take over the planet that quickly! Charles "That cheeky Lad"

the thing is when everybody gets to sleep there will be nothing remains on the earth.
everthing will destroy and the earth fall in the sun.
so when there is no planet then who else there to occupy the space.

Isn't it obvious? Evil Australians - it would be too sunny down there for them to sleep so they'd conquer the world and in an hour when we woke up it would be far too late.
