i remember hearing something like this in national geographic(or discovery channel)
cow milk has more protein which makes their calf develop muscles and grow up rapidly... monkey milk has more sugar to help develop the brain.

then i remembered that my classmate and all of his siblings are really intelligent. and they grew up next to a sugar refinery plant... mabe there's a lot of sugar in the air(which smells noticeably sweet).. :)

There is no link between sugar content of milk and intelligence.
The belief that breast fed children are more intelligent than those children who where not breast fed is also not true and the child's intelligence is determined only by the mother's intelligence. see this link

Glucose is the form of sugar used as fuel by brain cells. its because neurons cannot store glucose, they depend on the bloodstream to deliver a constant supply of this precious fuel.
Too much of glucose or refined carbohydrates at one time, however, can actually deprive your brain of glucose thereby depleting its energy supply and compromising your brain's power to concentrate, remember, and learn. Mental activity requires a lot of energy.
moreover milk is not the only source of sugar or carbohydrates, there are several ohter sources such as rice, potatoes, fruits like grapes.

I sure hope so! I drank a lot of milk as a child!

Actually, I believe the reverse is more accurate. Sugar deprivation can cause lethargy, which can cause slowness in everything, including learning.
