For example, I can only barely smell the perfume that I've put on after several minutes pass. Sometimes as I'm getting ready, I wonder if I have already put perfume on or not. Seems like I should be able to tell by smelling it but I can't. The perfume will dissipate but that doesn't explain how hours later, someone may compliment my perfume. It must still be there even though I can't smell it at all.

Another example is how you can walk into a room and be overwhelmed by a smell but then after a minute or two you get "used to it". (Think of cookies baking instead of walking into a restroom.) You might completely forget about the smell that was so strong to you earlier until someone else walks into the room and they comment on the smell.

In my Biology class everyone has to teach the rest of the class about an aspect of ecology. My aspect is ecosystems and niches. We all also have to have an activity for the class to do to help them learn. Does anyone have an idea for a game or something. By the way, this is tenth grade bio, so it should probaly be something at that level. Thanks.

What are the odds that two people have shared the same DNA without living in the same time frame? Since everyone was more or less tribal, all over the world until at least 1200 years ago, and there was and in some cases is a lot of local intermarriage, doesn't this beef up the odds of this happening? What about two people sharing the same DNA pattern without their recessive genes matching? I'm just wondering if we're really unique individuals or are we model numbers in a really vast number of models. If we do share genetic patterns with others, it seems likely that there are common models and uncommon ones and that the uncommon ones are most likely in U.S. cities. The common ones are in small rural villages and towns, worldwide.

but you make them, for example, swim 20 hours a day and they continue this habit for generations after generations and remain isolated from the outside world...would they eventually evolve into some kind aquatic beings so to speak? Would that create genetic mutations and turn them into something else? I know this sounds very ridiculous but I like science a lot and I've always been curious about these things.
