i have a biology test 2maro on the cell cycle and mitosis and meiosis. My teacher posted a study guide online and im confused about some of the concepts.
*why are there four haploid cells produced during oogenesis but only one gamete?
* and why isnt cytokinesis part of mitosis, i thought it was and know the study guide says it isnt.

Does any one Else think that it is neat how we some how copied something in nature before seeing it now we stack bricks the way we do because it creates strength and in some african hard woods under a microscope they look almost like stacked bricks i guess my question is does any one Else think that is fascinating.

I know that proteins are joined together by dehydration synthesis between the acid group of one molecule and the amine group of another; the bond that is formed is called a peptide bond.
And I know that hydrolysis is the decomposition reaction that uses water to break down a larger molecule into smaller ones.
