Well, if you are asking in terms of god, the Bible says he created the beasts for man to rule over. In terms of people, certainly they provide us with a source of food, but they also provide plant life with a much needed source of energy. If all animals died off, it seems likely that humans would die off as well, most likely from disease rather than a lack of food. If you are going to ask why god created animals, you may as well ask why he or she created plants or planets, or anything else. Who knows?

what function have animals on this planet ?
-Scatter resources, like plants and trees, assist in the germination and growth of vegetable matter, add nutrients in the decomposition process
why God has created them.
- Subjective. Can't mix apples, and oranges
Do they influence on people?
-Most certainly. Pets can reduce stress and improve your life. Animal materials can be used as clothing items, and people consume animals as well.
What will happen if they disappear?
Excellent question! Just imagine the planet with humans, and plants...Pretty lonely, and many biological processes will not carry out

Its to show that all species exist. Animals function on this planet is the same as ours to learn survival and procreate. I don't think animals will ever disappear maybe evolve into another animal or become extinct like the dinosaurs.

Animals are the valuable creation of God. They are the integral part of our Nature. they maintain ecological balance.
For ex:- Plants are eaten by animals like Deer, cow etc. these are eaten by carnivorous animals like Tiger, Lion etc. These become food for saprophtic microbes after their death.
Animals like Tiger, Sheep etc provide skin, hides, wool for humans for their lively purpose. Some even have animals as their food.
Suppose animals disappear their will be no ecological balance and earth may even end.

It is as if you are looking into a machine and asking about the function of a cog wheel. Of course it will have one, as the machine was designed as a whole and the cog wheel is there to implement some element of the design. However, living species developed according to the principles of natural selection, they do not have an intrinsic function.

Simplified: animals are essential because they help plants, through moving the seeds, fertilizing them, giving them nutrients after they die, allowing some plants to germinate, all sorts of things. Plants would probably die off without them. Without plants, we are pretty much in trouble. Not only do they convert CO2 to O2, but they also help clean up our environment. One book estimated that if all plants were destroyed, the benefits that we had free from them (clearing waterways, etc) would cost us more money than actually exists to replace .

Have you ever heard of the food chain??? Starts with little microbes and moves up to us. and if one on the food chain becomes extinct, then the food chain falls apart.
