If we want to prove that starch is present in photosynthesis steps are as follow:
1)Take some food material like wheat flour.
2)Put it in a test tube and add some water in it.
3)Add some iodine solution a blue black colour shows the presence of starch.

The potted selected plant should be in the darkness for a night so that it can utilise the starch from the leaves Then the is plant kept in the sunlight for about 3 to 4 hours. Pluck out one leaf boil in alcohol and drop iodine solution on the leaf it turn to blue indicating starch is synthesized during photosynthesis

Starch is a plants means of storing sugar. Starch is not made in photosynthesis. The test for starch is to put tincture of iodine on it(color is redish brown) and it turns blue black
