If you are normally constituted, and only count the appendage of your hands as fingers (i.e. no toes, no little "lady finger" pastries, etc), you should have 10, assuming that you are not one of those who insist that the thumbs are not fingers (which they are).

The thumb is a finger!! Assuming no major accidents in your life, you probably have ten of them. But some people are polydactyly and have more!

I assume that the number of the appendices on both your left and your right hand can be counted with the amount between nine and eleven, excepting for the fact that you might have lost one or more of those appendices, or were born with one or two extra.
