Only one species on earth for millions of years? Why would they eventually break up into other species of animals? Just curious.

If you are cooking meat and it has parasites - say salmon with tapeworm (which is common in tapeworm) ---- does cooking the salmon essentailly destroy the molecular structure of the tapeworms - or are you just eating cooked tapeworms? Weird Q. I know!

If, for example, a genetic defect is present in both the human and chimpanzee gene pool, and both species can consequently suffer from the same medical disorder, that would prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the defect arose in a common ancestor of the two species and was inherited by both - i.e. it would prove that humans and chimpanzees are related by common descent.

Do we have evidence of such disorders?

I have heard that a male individual starts producing sperm only after sexual maturity. At this juncture Regulatory RNA plays an important role in the manufacturing process. On the other hand, it seems, a female baby is born with a finite number of eggs. Do they remain intact till the maturity? Or is there any kind of Regalatory RNA's influence on them as is the case with men?
