One website for a test kit says that marijuana shows up in a urine test for up to about ten days after the last use, but a teacher I know told me that her kids could be caught with a urine test up to a month later. And it can still be determined from hair testing for as long as the hair you grew when you smoked is still on your head, which is about 6 months on average.

Okay they can't tell if you're using marijuana from a DNA test. 30 days to 6 weeks is the longest a urine test will pick it up. And yes about 6 months for a hair folicle.
DNA test....wow some people are really really stupid. Even a stoned person wouldn't suggest that.

Marijuana takes about 2 to 3 weeks to clear out of your system and more if you smoke regularly. For a hair test, the chemicals stay in your hair as long as its on your head. To pass the test, stop smoking and shave your head.

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) can stay in a person's body for as long as 3 to 90 days after smoking or being ingested orally.
There are numerous determining factors: Your health, your body weight, metabolism, fluid intake, and the degree of exposure.
If you smoke it occasionally it will remain in your system for up to 10 days. If you smoke marijuana on a regular basis it will stay in your system for as long as 45 days, and if you smoke marijuana at a constant pace, it can stay in the body for 90 days, Marijuana is fat soluble. It stores in the fat cells of the body, the brain, the liver, the kidneys, in other words the major organs.
Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, one of nearly 400 chemicals in a cannabis plant, accounts for most of marijuana's psychoactive, or mind-altering, effects. The strength of the drug is determined by the amount of THC it contains which varies from plant to plant. Marijuana stays in your system for different amounts of time depending on how often you smoke it, how much you smoke, and the makeup of the individual (weight/height/etc.)

A friend of mine says two weeks, and of course he broke down and had some then got tested: his boss said why didn't you tell me? I could have delayed the test.
I think it is better to eat it than smoke it, it shows up just the same but you don't smell like pot and its protected by the bible in Genesis when God gives us every green leafy growth with seeds. Some church people even take aspirin!

I heard it can stay in your system up to 8 years, that is to say if a DNA test was done eg. on hair it would show up. All presidential incumbents are tested this way.
If you didn't use it you wouldn't have to ask this question. It is not worth it.
