Hi,

1) We can't create something from nothing, so Big Bang's primordial fireball of radiation was always there, right?
2) If space and time are connected, this means time was also always there with the fireball of radiation, right?
3) Which action did lead the fireball to expand?
4) What makes this theory better than others?

Please don't answer with links.
Thank you very much.

I know this is a weird Q. But I ask it a lot. I am just worried that the earth will go kamboom along with the rest of the Milky Way. Also, If this ever happens can we go to an other planet to be SAFE? THANKS SO MUCH!!! :-) :-( :-]

so i watched this thing on tv where through a telescope we, on earth, saw a star explode like millions of light years away, therefore we literally watched the past. it made me ask does time even exist? why is it to a dying man 14 seconds can seem like our standards of an "hour" and why to a little girl being at disneyworld half a day can seem like this same "hour"? If we look at a planet two light years away...we in 2007, currently view a planet in its 2005 state ... so basically we all have different perspectives, so does time exist or does it make no sense or is it simple relative?

The planets are in orbit, if I could shot a hypothetical bullet through the middle of Mercury would it pass through the rest of the planets assuming that they were lined up one behind the other (like an eclipse) and also assuming the bullet could penetrate a planet.

i am doing an assessment in which i have to calculate errors. If a manufacturer gives the focal length of the eyepiece, what is a reasonable estimate of the inaccuracy?

would it be reasonable to expect a +/- 0.5 millimeter inaccuracy on an eyepiece that i have been told has a focal length of 7mm?

i am unsure of this though, as i am aware they can be very carefully manufactured.

so does anybody know what a sensible estimate would be?
thanks.

...when the earth spins a day in 23h56mins?
It's appaling!
24h - 23h56 = 4mins
4min / day * 360days = 1440min
And 1day = 1440min
