Take a deep breath & relax. It's not going to happen in our lifetime. It most likely won't happen for millions of years. Don't worry about things you have no control over. You'll find life a lot happier & more enjoyable that way.

Don't worry because you'll be dead before that happens ;)
It will happen in about 5-6 billion years in the future
Right now Astronomers are already searching for life in other Planets in our Solar System and on other Star Systems.
By the time the Sun blows up we would have probably evolved into more intelligent beings that have the best technology around the Solar System so we can easily travel to other planets or to exoplanets really fast. The planets and exoplanets that we may have known to sustain life would be our new homes. Who knows? maybe other humans would have already lived in those planets or exoplanets so we can just leave this planet and settle there.
And No The Earth will not go Ka-BOOM! ^_^ along with the rest of the "Milky Way Galaxy". Our Star the Sun ''is in the Milky Way Galaxy'' and the galaxies are full of stars.
It would take billions of years for all those stars besides the Sun to explode. Our planet Earth is in a Star System called the Solar System not the Milky Way Galaxy lolz. If the Sun and the Earth dies then their are still other Star Systems out there with planets that are still alive so not everything in the Milky Way Galaxy falls apart just because the Sun died or blew up lolz.

By the time the Sun blows up, in 4-5 billion years, humans will either be on another planet, or will be extinct, or will have adapted to become another species, so you should not worry on that count. Much of the milky Way will go the same way, but there will always be new suns to go to, for billions of years to come. The Sun will not blow up or stop burning without notice, there will be changes in colour, going from yellow to red, which will take a million years or more, before that happens, so there will be plenty of time to prepare.
If you would like to help, you could study hard, join NASA, and help find somewhere else to go, but apart from that, you could just sit back and enjoy life.

In about four to five billion years the Sun will expand to become a red giant star. Its surface will expand to beyond the orbit of Venus. The amount energy that it produces per second will also increase dramatically. The oceans will evaporate, the atmosphere of the Earth will be swept away, and the bare rock surface will be broiled. But, don't worry. It won't happen for at least 4,000,000,000 years.
The rest of the Milky Way includes a few hundred billion stars. So before the Sun turns into a red giant, we should be able to get our collective act together (I hope), and move into space and find another home.

There are two things that are certain: You will die and so will the sun. But it will so many years after you that it is pointless to worry about it. I doubt you will still be around in say ten billion years from now.
Incidentally, moving to another planet wouldn't be safe because the 'explosion' of the sun will engulf not only the earth but everything in our solar system. The solution then would be to leave for another star and hope to find friendly planets there.

well for one, if the sun exploded the entire milky way wouldnt... Our solar system is a tiny, tiny part of the Milky Way. And would it matter if it did explode? You would die instantly, nothing to worry about. Theres more of a chance of the Earth being blown up by the moon at the moment than by the sun :/ (and by this i mean theres is practically 0 chance of both lol.

This won't happen for billions of years. The centres of some galaxies are very active and could be seen as exploding - these are known as active galactic nuclei (AGN). These seem to have been much more common many billions of years ago, so it's unlikely that our galaxy is one of these.
It'll be so long before the sun explodes that people will be long gone whether or not we go to another planet. If it was going to explode in the near future, the best thing would probably be to build self-sufficient space colonies on small objects well beyond Neptune.

u don't have to be worried because yes the sun will run out of its fuel and grow larger then it is and evaporate the oceans and kill mankind and shrink back to size and blow up.BUT this will happen in like 6 billion years so you don't have to worry but you great great great...grandchildren probably will have to worry.i bet even before the sun explodes the world ill kill each other in a massive war, possibly WW3

Don't worry. The sun will not destroy us for a billion years or so. Don't pay serious attention to Doctor Who and Star Trek etc. Live your life the best way you can and be happy. Everything will be fine...

Your body WILL die------someday. ALL of us will die-----someday. No one can live forever. We will not die be because the sun blows up. Our sun will not go super nova for millions of years yet.
For now, live your life to its fullest and be the best person that you can be.
