Come on now. How can anyone answer that question. My answer is that it will turn into a pumpkin in the year 2312 cannot be proven false, by anyone. So any crackpot answer is correct until that time passes.pp

It could continue to expand forever. Or the rate of expansion could slow until the universe is contracting. The second is like ethe opposite of the big bang. Which happens depends on the strength of gravity of all the matter in the universe versus the rate of expansion.
