the earth is closer to sun during the northern hemisphere winter so its faster but would be right to assume that its travels just as fast during the northern hemisphere summer, considering that the axis it travels in is elliptical,so guessing during the summer its still the same distance away....right or wrong?

If it were possible to make a hole through the Earth and you dropped a ball into said hole, where would it stop? Because of gravity I would think that it would stop in the center of the Earth but I'm not sure...

Has the orbit of the Earth around the sun gotten measurably rounder? Aren't we just a little closer to it now at least a couple times a year? Aren't we receiving a little more radiation (heat) because of the orbital change?

The earth's rotaion is slowing down 1/1000th of a second a day. If we multilpy that out over millions of years... we end up with the earth spinning at a terrific speed, night and day would come and go in a matter of seconds.

On the days you can see the moon and the sun at the same time, Why is it sometimes the moon isn't full?

If the moon and the sun are above the horizon, then the Earth should not be able to cast a shadow on the moon from the sun's light? Shouldn't you see the full moon when you see the sun at the same time? If so, why is the moon not always full when you can see the sun also?

Thanks for your kind answers.

Ok, I've read some facts said about findings of a crashed UFO sight in some open field along time ago. Where scientists actually found burned grass where the creator was left my the harsh landing. This is the first sign of an actual ufo blowing up into small pieces of some sort of medal unknown material that they sent to a lab to further identify. the medal was mothing of this Earth for sure, and could not bend, dent, scratch, drill, melt, etc. it as as if it was indistructable, except when it hit the ground with such a magnitude of force. They don't even know to this day, what type of material this was, or where it came from, the Government took the body remains to an undercover lab to analyse it but none of our most powerful machines can determine the type of anatomy these beings have or how they function, there skin in impenetrable, and cold grey colored as a dead human would look and feel clamy. thier eyes are Large Glossy Black, Thin arms, Fat Fingers, small mouth. YOUR OPINION?
