Dear Friend,

in this Vast Universe the planet Earth is a very small ,very tiny thing .On this planet we live and we have around us the other big planets in our solar system it self.
To live we think..that Oxygen, water, food ,a correct temperature etc etc are a must. Why do you say so?Because you need them ,there is no point that all living beings need these conditions.
Humans have worm blood.there are cold blooded creatures on our planet.
We live with oxygen and trees and plants live on carbon di oxide and exhale oxygen.
In the deep ocean we see so many colourful plants.flowers and creatures in that enormous pressure and utter darkness with little oxygen. But they are there and we are finding new ones every day.
In thearcitic and antarcitic places ,there too are living creatures.
So in the tiny planet EARTH it self we find LIFE in such diverse conditions.
That being so,what makes you thonk that THERE IS NO LIFE IN OTHER PLANETS/
Just becuase we have not een them, is no proof to say ,life does not exist there.
There may be LIFE ,Entirely different from ours. may be more intelligent and has the capacity to live with the avaolable resources there. They might have evolved so.
Human sense organs are all having LIMITATIONS.
eye cant see everything(for example Uv and Ir rays )
ear can't hear every thing ( it hAs a limited range from 20 c/s to 22000 c/s .i think)...beyond that we can't hear.some animals have the capacity to see and hear more than we do (say cats, dogs etc)
Similarly all our sense organs.
so, under hese circumstances, how can we say categorically that there is no life else where other than earth?
THERE MUST BE LIFE .I BELIEVE.SCIENCE TOO WILL GET THE PROOF OF IT.
Our genuine saints and sages of said repeatedly that life exists in other planets and described in detail. We simply say it trash.because,we do not understand it.
There is no more ignorance than thinking that life exists only on EARTH.
Just look at the sky. There are so many stars planets etc etc.and don't you think that we are a part of that family? Our friends are definitely are there. and we find them soon.

But practically speaking, there is no life out there. Scientists believe the odds of life being able to exist on a planet is 1:10 million, which means there are about 1 million planets that odds would favor for life- but all of them thousands of light years away from us- many are millions of light years away. So- even there was life- it wouldn't be able to get here, and we wouldn't be able to get there- and we won't be able to see each other. So in a greater sense of the word, no, there is no other life than that which is on earth, so you better just make friends with the people around you.

The Hindu scriptures talk a lot about life other than in this planet. The scripture in fact mentions million of universes ('as many as the mustard seeds in a bag of mustard') and lifes of all forms, not necessarily human as we know it. Its just that our mind cannot conceive them because nothing in our personal experience help us conceive them (just as our ancestors could not conceive a TV but we have it now). Do not try to speculate on this subject as they lead to useless and baseless debate. We have to learn from the authentic scriptures, the same scripture that told us simple fact like that the earth was round and that it moves around the sun(well before the likes of Corpenicus discovered it). This is not some religion I am trying to preach but facts not too publicised.

Scientists have found fossils of water on Mars which suggests that perhaps life once lived there or will live there. Theyre also looking at Jupiters moon Europa, to see if theres any life under its icy surface.
Apart from that no evidence of life has been discovered. Perhaps in a different galaxy?

in one way the proof of life on other planets is that there is life on this planet so that proves there will be life on other planets. Some far far older then us. So why have thay not contacted us. Maybe thay have or more likely before thay were advanced enough thay wiped them selfs out by distroying there planet with pollution. as will we. So in the unlikely event we do get to the stars we wont find so called intelligent life.

Hi Shataksh, I believe if we are here why couldn't there me life on another planet. It only makes sense. There maybe a lot of planets that hold life. They may look like us are they maybe a whole different race of aliens or who knows for sure. But i do believe there is life out there besides us. A Friend.

There have been many eye witnesses to suggest that other life forms exist outside our little planet.

And then when you think of it we are simply a tiny spec in the vast ocean of the universe of stars, planets, and galaxies, I would hate to think that with all of that out there we are the only ones and all the bright lights in the sky are for our amusement.

The chances of there really being other life forms outside our planet are great owing to the vastness of the universe.

Yes there is 100% chances of existance of life .because there are many solar systems present in our Universe .and then as the number of solar system there are many chances of life other than earth.
