There are two dwarf galaxies orbiting Our Galaxy, The Large Magellanic Cloud and The Small Magellanic Cloud.

Our closest 'sister' galaxy is Andromeda at about 2.2 Million light years, headed our way for a collision in about 6 Billion years.
There are some smaller closer ones, of no significance.
