I had to do an experiment, but since my flashlight broke I can;t. :(

Anyway, which 'star' would be brighter- the larger one (the full flashlight beam) or the smaller star (the flashlight beam through a hole in the aluminum foil)?

Or the latest sunrise fall on a day weeks after the winter solstice? The winter solstice may be the shortest day of the year, but it's not the day of either earliest sunset nor latest sunrise. For the southern hemisphere, the situation is shifted to the summer solstice.

a vacume flask dosnt conduct heat ,
space does
a vacume is nessesary to evacuate matter in this dense atmoshere but space is rarefied [sans conductive matter],
on earth we need to empty our the gasses to duplicate the rarified conditions of space ,yet our thermose dosnt conduct heat and space 'vacume ' does.
can space thus be in truth [as a trueism] be called a vacume?

I find the study of planets amazing..Scientist believe that in a few billion years the sun will use up all its gases and then enlarge by something like 6 times its size..anyway back to the point, do you think by this time, we will be able move to different planets and build new lifes there???

Seems like crossing space the conventional way (chemical and ION engines) takes a really long time to get where you're going.

Is anyone working on the next quantum leap forward for propulsion? I hate to use the term 'WARP' engine because it involves warping space and time but isn't that the way it needs to be done to cross great distances.

So, the question remains, is anyone working on the next big deal for crossing space? Can you point me to any web sites?

Everything has an end, right? What is beyond the sky? Where does the universe end? Where does it begin?

There is no good or right answer for this question. Any speculations are appreciated, scientific or philosophical.
