Before you tell me about how all Radio,TV, satellite transmissions/signals are unwittingly sent (leaked) to space as well, let me clarify my question. ... What I am asking is: Can you "legally" transmit signals to deep space without them being meant to be picked up on Earth by a receiver (i.e. a TV, a radio, a satellite, etc.)? Or is there a law against a one-way transmission to space? ... Also, do you need an FCC license of sorts to transmit signals to deep space? Serious answers only please. In other words, kindly refrain from cute, "ET call home" commentaries :-)

This Sunday, Dec. 09, 2006, Mars, Jupiter, and Mercury will be together in the sky as far as your thumb in the view.

Three planets haven't been that close since 1925, said Miami Space Transit Planetarium director Jack Horkheimer.

And it won't happen again until 2053, he said.

do some of you believe that UFO's are REAL as much as you believe god is real. i hear people saying the universe is endless, we don't know that but that is what we believe. so if the universe is trilllions, beyong trillions of miles long or more, then some people say that it is impossible that only EARTH has living creatures. some people even say there might be living creatures on the other side of the universe questioning the same thing we are questioning. are we alone? personally i don't beleive in ET.

We only use 18 % of our brain in carrying out day to day affairs. The only person in human history to utelize 22% it his brain was Albert Einstien. the question is "is it possible to "kick start" the rest of the brain to get the password to unlock the mysteries of the real ultimate truth ? if at all there is a truth true enough to be considered true ? secondly, it is known all around that there are some star in the universe so far away that their light reaches us after say millions of years after death (supernova) . Doesn't that mean that we are actually living in the past of the universe ? What is happening around us has actually happened.

The comments from YouTube viewers is inconclusive. Can someone tell me how they got a shot of Neil Armstrong taking the first steps ever on the moon? What did they do, extend a huge boom off the LEM with a video camera hanging off it? Does anyone have documentation on this?

i have often times wondered, what lies beyond our planet, this floating speck, what lies far, far away, is there an edge of the universe? WHat is the universe inside of? Is there a point to anything? What is the arcane truth behind all this exisence? Please, someone answer me. It may be with philosophy...it may be with science...i dont care. Will we ever find out?
