I think a lot of the answerers are thinking about the Columbia accident which occurred during reentry. Those poor soul were thrown into the upper atmosphere at about Mach 8.
The question, however, was about the Challenger accident. Contrary to popular belief, caused by widespread inaccurate reporting, the Challenger did not explode.
When the external tank (ET) exploded, the Challenger was ripped away from the ET more or less intact. However, it was out of control and was ripped apart by aerodynamic forces far beyond its strength. The total structural failure occurred in under 1 second.
The strongest part of the American Space Shuttles is the crew compartment. Analysis of the video showed that the crew compartment emerged from the firebal intact and continued on a ballistic track downrange until it fell into the ocean.
Examination of the auxiliary air packs worn by the astronauts showed that they had been turned on. In fact, Commander Scobee's air pack had been activated by Judy Resnick who was sitting behind him. That means that they were alive after the explosion and there is every reason to believe that they lived right up until the crew compartment impacted the ocean. One NASA official used the word "recognizable" to describe the bodies.
My opinion: It's very likely that the bodies were in pretty good shape except for impact injuries.

Actually i don't believe there was anything left regarding body parts, they were vapourised. With the heat they would be totally incinerated.

I think they were found fairly intact. Not sure, I'm sure the crew compartment was found fairly intact on the sea bed.
