If the planet had a roughly earth like environment, and the predatory life could be overcome with a little work, and provided there wasn't any super harmful viruses or microbes, sure i would go, heck it would be cool if the gravity of the planet was a little higher than earths so it would give the whole experience that Little extra challenge to it. Just imagine hunting wild alien predators through a unknown wilderness with a higher gravity the challenges around every corner would be something to write home about, heck i would most likely live in the alien wilds.

I wouldn't move. first of all....if it were 1 year away, the orbit would be so small that it would hit earth! second...to find a planet that can replicate the exact condition of our planets are 1 in.....well...1 billion to say the least. if the conditions are not exact, humans there would change beyond recognition.

We have an inhabitalbe planet. It's called Earth and we wouldn't need to discuss moving to another planet if we would have taken care of this one.

Even though there are plenty of wonders i have not seen on this very planet, I think I'd be the first in line of the rocket that took us to this planet.
Can you imagine seeing space FROM space?
Its almost too wonderful to imagine, really.

Sure... be first in line to be eaten by the carnivorous plants, mind-control pods and flesh eating microbes that await... And be shot at by the inhabitants of neighboring solar systems for being illegal aliens on their property.

Think I'd visit before making any permanent plans :)

Naw. I'm too set in my ways to move. Just bought this nifty house, almost two years ago, and couldn't think of packing up and moving again. Too much of a hassle, plus I always lose something in the move. Nope, not worth it, for me. <*)))><

based on current space travel technology - I would be a frozen corpse long before the spacecraft ever reached the place.

Yes. At least it can't be any worse than this planet.

If there was an easy and affordable way to get there, YEAH! Heck, I'd love to just be in space.
