Ever since, the earth magnetic field is slowly weakening, and maybe preparing to filp the magnetic poles reversally, is it possible that this magnetic field is causing us to have colder weather or stronger hurricane? Does the earth magnetic field have any relationship to explain this stronger weather systems?

In other words, will we continue to live, but only on a another plane somewhere? I've heard others suggest this theory and have often wondered if it's a possibility.

There is a cluster of stars that I've always been interested in, ever since i was a little kid: is is just a cluster of stars but you can see it better if you don't look directly at it. Someone told me that it is another galaxy; is this true? What galaxy is it? Any additional info would also be appreciated.

I am doing a couple of questions about the solar system, and I came upon to this one and got stuck:

How does Uranus differs from other planets?

My inference: because Uranus rotates on an axis titlted 90 (degree) to the plane of the solar system.

If i am wrong, please explain.

Thanks

I know that theoretically in a singularity all the of the sub atomic particles are extremely condense and are touching each other. I also know that a measure of temperature is molecular movement. From everything I have read, black holes have a high temperature. My question is, if the molecules are "jammed together" how can they move. Therefore if they can't move how can a blackhole be hot?

Suppose that I weigh 180 pounds on the Earth's surface at mean sea level.

I and 3 other objects are going to the moon.

1. A ridgid "baloon" filled with hydrogen.
2. Bathroom scales
3. Doctor's scales - those kind that have weights to counter balance.

I weigh the same on both scales (with my space suit on, of course - discount the effects from the suit).

When I hold onto the hydrogen baloon, I weigh 120 ponds on both scales.

Now, what weights would I expect on the moon if I repeated the experiments there?

ps - assume the moon's gravity is 1/6 (0.17) that of the earth.

One night on a dark highway, one of my friends was taking me to another town after work. No other cars around.....up in the distance we could see bright lights. We got up to it, and it was hanging over the highway about the heidth of a tree. The thing was massive in size, as it spread the width of the highway and a little more. It was sort of triangular in shape, but with rounded edges where the corners would be. Along the inside close to the edges, were different colored bright lit lights. I wasn't scared at the time. My friend said on the way back home, the object was gone. We still to this day do not know what it was. I have no explanation, other than that it was an unidentified flying or hovering object. Any answers or similar sightings would be welcome. Thanks!
