b) most planets orbit at the same speed -- this would make sense only if the planets were all at approximately the same distance from the Sun. At different distances, the orbital speeds must be different to establish a stable orbit.

b) is definitely wrong: laws of orbital physics say a planet orbits at a higher speed the further it is from sun.

B)...rationale is based on Kepler's law which basically says that orbital speed depends on how close the objects are.
