I saw the lady (space tourist) on tv who went to the space station for 11 days. She said while she was there she saw 32 sunsets as a line of darkness moved across the earth. It got me to thinking about time outside of earth. How does that work? She was there for 11 earth days, is that different from 'space' days?

If a body passes by a celestial body such as the earth or moon , it gains acceleration known as the slingshot effect, the transfer of energy to the obect that is accelerated redues the energy of the mass being slingshotted (is there such a word) In the case of the earth eg it wopuld reduce its spin speed ever so slightly
Question is , if something as big as the space shuttle used the earth as a slingshot, how many times would such a slingshot have to be done before the earth stopped rotating ?
Thanks to all who offer a reply

I read these sites that suggest this planet is 4 X the size of earth
and 100 times denser and could cause the earth to get all messed up when its orbit passes earth. I'm not going to get to involved as i don't want people being taught false doctrine, that would be a very bad thing to do.
How can someone gather all this info from one apparent picture of the planet (i think in infra red spectrum) that Nasa wroye off as being some other object?

Help please?

How come so many believers in extra terrestrial life, not including microscopic lifeforms, think it's enough evidence to claim the universe is large so ETs must therefor exist? I admit I'm no expert on logic, but I don't see the validation in the reasoning as presented. And why is it arrogant to doubt their contention?

it suggests that a that is earthlike should also produce life. but doesnt it overlook the fact that all life on earth was spawned by a singular event. by its reasoning shouldnt life have also happened the day before and the day after since earth was earthlike on those ocations also. it should also have happened a few inches to the left and right in the primordial ooze as well. it seems to me that life on other planets is very unlikely since conditions on earth were probubly the same in very many places and for a very long time and it virtually never happened. even the most ideal lab conditions are unable to prompt the event. who has it wrong, me or drake, and why?
