I read these sites that suggest this planet is 4 X the size of earth
and 100 times denser and could cause the earth to get all messed up when its orbit passes earth. I'm not going to get to involved as i don't want people being taught false doctrine, that would be a very bad thing to do.
How can someone gather all this info from one apparent picture of the planet (i think in infra red spectrum) that Nasa wroye off as being some other object?

Help please?

This internet hoax story has already run its course. The supposed "Planet X" was supposed to come close to the earth in 2003. Nothing happened, because it doesn't exist. I wouldn't be concerned. Cheers.

Planet Nibiru aka Planet X, which doesn't actually exist, is a Sumerian story. The Sumerians were big on the arts and had many stories and myths. Some speculate that this story was based on a real event but even if that were the case, it's unlikely a large planet like object actually entered the inner solar system during human kind's existance.

There IS speculation, however, that on a few occasions in the distance past before any complex life on Earth existed, or perhaps befor the Earth even cooled enough to walk on, that a very large planet like object my have indeed entered the inner solar system, but it's doubtful it would have had any life on it as it's orbit would not have been a stable or life supporting one.

What became of this planet? It may have collided with Earth, forming the moon, or it may have been forever exiled from our solar system.

It is interesting reading, i personally don't invest in it but it has some good circumstantial evidence. It was written by a somebody sitchkin, who elaborated from ancient Sumerian pictures and hieroglyphs.

It explains the wobble of the outer planets (which is only great enough to be caused by a large planet) and the apparent path through the oort cloud left by a passing orbital body.

Planet X is also thought to be either a brown dwarf, a huge planet or a black hole.

There are many differant accounts of the exact nature of this, some are scientific some are speculative but all are interesting reading. particularly i enjoyed the one about the moon forming collision with this planet that broke off enough material to form the mars asteroid belt

The speed of the planet causes a phenomenon called Red-shift, in which the spectrum shifts towards the red wavelenght.. using this the speed can be calculated...

And then, obviously its size can be seen from the image..

Given the speed and the distance from which the planet relative to the sun and other objects around it, its mass can be calculated..

Given all these things, you can even map its orbit...

So you have all these things, and you can see if it can come close to the earth's orbit.. and if it does, if it will cause any trouble..
