Looking at a model of our solar system, and I'm using the term 'horizontal' just so it's easier for me to comprehend, but pretty much everything goes around the sun horizontally.

Someone told me this is because that's the way the sun is turning and all planets have to follow that. Is this true?

And using this same model as a visual image and the three dimensions of space, could it ever be possible for a planet to orbit vertically or even the opposite direction of the other planets in a system? Thoughts?

And for that matter, how many light years is the universe itself (the diameter)? Is the center of the universe roughly where the Big Bang occured 14 billion years ago?

According to CNN (I searched using the terms "asteroid", "impact", Earth", "2028") an asteroid has been seen approaching earth. It will pass on October 26th. 2028: the best estimate is that it will miss by 30,000 miles, but as the error term in the estimate is up to 180,000 miles it could hit. The explosion would be equivalent to 2 million Hiroshima bombs.

Does anybody know anything about this? E.g what time would it hit, which side of Earth is in line, whether it would hit sea (with the implications of huge waves) or land, and what the effects would be?

Also, what are the politicians and scientists doing to divert this object if necessary? It obviously ranks at least alongside problems such as global warming and terrorism.

Apparently it is some lost ancient planet that is in a different orbit around the sun so we can't see it and it doesn't revolve around the sun like the other planets do... It apparently also collided with out planet to create the moon and was discovered by the oldest civilisation 6000 years ago... What are your thoughts?

They're still in the early phases of space technology, but have high hopes of putting a man in orbit by 2017. Rather than using rockets to propel their Aztecnauts into space, they're going with a much more natural route. After the Aztecnaut injests large amounts of refried beans, chili and beer, they don their specially crafted suit. Within 30 minutes, they're at the launch site. By this time, they can no longer hold in the vast amounts of gas that their food is producing and commence with very powerful farts, which are inturn lit by technicians wielding matches.

So far, Mexico has successfully launched an Aztecnaut roughly 30 meters into the air.

Evidence of infinite gravitational phase speed at zero frequency has been observed by a few researchers by noting the high stability of the earth’s orbit about the sun [15, 16]. Light from the sun is not observed to be collinear with the sun’s gravitational force.
Astronomical studies indicate that the earth’s acceleration is toward the gravitational center of the sun even though it is moving around the sun, whereas light from the sun is observed to be aberated. If the gravitational force between the sun and the earth were aberated then gravitational forces tangential to the earth’s orbit would result, causing the earth to spiral away from the sun, due to conservation of angular momentum. Current astronomical observations estimate the phase speed of gravity to be greater than 2x10^10c.
