Their reasoning was if we could fake it for the TV show, it's just proof we could've faked it for the "real" moon landing. What can I say to them to point out how ridiculous that is?

I mean, apart from:
Moon rocks
TV images of the Saturn V rocket taking off
Testimony of the Astronauts
Photographs of the rocket, jettisoning stage 1
Pictures of the Earth taken from the Moon
Photographs and video of the Astronauts on the lunar surface, and
A big piece of green cheese
really, what evidence do you have for the Moon landings?
My brother says it was all shot in a gravel pit in Wales, England, and they just turned the gravity down a bit.

In the early NASA days they decided to take a few bees, birds, ants and other smaller animals into space to see what they'd do. In a briefing, one of the staff said that birds would die of dehydration within a day or so. Thus ended the study of birds in space.. Any idea why the birds would die in space?

I think it is so sad. Go to this link and take a while to read this and then put what you think. I never knew the facts about it.

I live in a very tiny village in a remote area north of the Arctic Circle. Sometimes we see these triangles of light floating in the sky. Do you see them where you are? What are they?

To begin with, I'm not an astronomy major, and I know there are many other factors I should take into account when asking these general questions...

Does a star's life end at the stage of a blackhole instead of recycling itself to become a new star? Would the universe eventually run out of matter?

If the number of blackholes only increase, what theories have been proposed to predict what would happen? Is that a reason for the theory of a Big Crunch of the universe?

THANKS :)

we are obviously headed to one of many doomsday scenarios. i believe the aliens that planted us here as an experiment will come back to save us from our own demise. if they dont come to save us i bet they will at least come back to watch the annihilation first hand, which in theory means we have a chance of sneaking back aboard.
Where will you be when the Jesus SHip finally arrives?
