Again I wanna know what everyone elses opinion about how long till were flying around in our own personal flying cars? How long till we replace todays telephone with the visiphone (being able to see who your talking to on a phone)? How long till we have fancy smancy holograms? And how long till were going to the moon, mars and all the other planets jus like we go to the front or backyard of our house?

I wanna know; is it the planet's rotation on it axis that makes us age? Or the planet's rotation around the sun that makes us age?

Has science proven which stars are legally not allowed to have comets on them or is that part of the new grant they are preparing to investigate laws in space?

If you send an object flying through space and along it journey it's never impeded by any thing(asteroids, comets, meteors, planets, moons an objects gravity, whatever),shouldnt it pick up speed as it goes along? An object in motion stays in motion, unless acted up. well wouldnt a moving object pick up speed? Or no? Is there something I'm missing here?
And if it does pick up speed what's the rate at which it does gain speed?

You would think that a different location would yield a different view, but in astronomical terms, the Moon and Mars are just a footstep away. The question is, is that mere footstep enough of a distance to change the appearance of, say, Orion or URSA Major??

ok i have a question. what other names could we give to astronauts. i mean we have comosnauts and astronauts. cosmos and astro obviously meaning space. i just wanted to know if there were any other names for space that we could put naut behind and make a cool new name for astronauts. like solarnauts or somthing like that of course i mean the solar system not the sun.

Very limited I think. Observation would show the stars form a ball with nothing outside. The night would not be dark enough to see faint objects outside with all those stars in the sky

OK, Nasa is disapointing those of us who are still young by waiting to go to Mars in 2020; but we've already been to the moon once, cant we go back and actually start doing something by 2009-2010?
I think a couple ideas I've heard is: 1)An amuesment park or carnival or some something like that.2)A launch pad for getting to the other planets, and 3)This is my suggestion; When we get our transportation in order, becuase our planet is getting worse, go and carve out part of the inside of the moon to use as an emergency place to go incase of a global disater. War, a new ice age, any kind of global problem that requires us to escape the planet.
Does anyone think any of this can be accomplished or at least started by 2009-2010?

Since Titan is so rich in hydrocarbons, i think we should set them aflame with nuclear weapons. I think this for two reasons:

1. The atmosphere would become hotter directly, and because of global warming. This makes it more suitable for life.

2. The chemical reactions from all the burning will produce a heck of a lot of H2O. This makes the planet even more suitable for life.

If we do this to Titan, we could eventually live on it! Think of it! What a view to see saturn in the horizon!

Who's with me?!
