WHere did you get his crazy idea??
Well to say that the earths orbit is continuously changing, albeit slight, you would not notice the difference.
There are periods when the earth is closer to the sun.
There are seasons when particular points of the earth are closer to the sun, or in its energy longer.
What could cause th eearth to change its orbit suddenly?????
Something with extremely massive gravitational pull.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhh
Is there a Black Hole on the Horizon????
(Or some ones fat ***)
Not to worry, cant do anything about that now.

If Earth was closer to the Sun, then Sun would look bigger. Does the Sun look bigger to you? It doesn't look bigger to me. If the Moon is still orbiting Earth at the same old distance, then the Moon would not look any bigger and could no longer be able to totally cover the Sun to make an eclipse. Do we still have total solar eclipses? Yes. There will be one visible from far northern Canada on August 1, 2008 and one visible from the US on August 21, 2017. So I say we have not moved any closer to the Sun.

I don't think the earths orbit has altered but I do know that our sun is getting also or is being aged .And wen a star gets old it starts blowing up and one day it wd destroy planets near the sun

Our orbit has not changed. The Sun appears to be getting hotter, and this is actually causing global warming on Mars and Jupiter now. Mars' north polar cap is melting at this time. Jupiter shows new storms in its atmosphere that are caused by more heat from the Sun.
So no, our orbit has not changed, but the Sun has.

On the contrary, the Earth is slowly moving away from the Sun.

If anything, the gravitational pull off the sun is weakening. In a few billion years, the sun will explode and become a red giant... Engulfing us and 4 other planets as it does so.
Still, nice weather were having!

And why would you think this?
Just so you know, the earth is at its farthest point from the sun about now, not the nearest.
