there should be a button on the tv that makes the remote beep jsut like for wireless phones and they're docking stations.

it wanted to play hide and seek ( jk)
uhh because it's not a big part of our life of putting the remote down so we just carelessly set it down somewhere and then we expect it to just pop out at us when we come back.
