Easy! by NOT believing.

There hasn't been any evidence yet to prove this. I'm not saying its impossible, but we have found nothing yet, and all we've heard is just speculation on why it could be possible. Main arguments include "how in such a vast place as our universe could we be the only life forms?"
Well that's a good point, but its just speculation, and it doesn't explain why there could be life. Until there's concrete proof that life is out there, people won't believe in life on other planets. Even then some of them still won't believe, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

Fooey with the "evidence" answer. There is no real evidence to support creationist's point of view either.

I tend to take the path of the probabilities: 0 to 20 planets around millions of stars in millions of galaxies. I can't believe we were the only ones to get the soup of life correctly mixed.

Now, as to our own star system, nothing above microbes. So, I also doubt we will ever meet any other life forms before our planet is wiped out by asteroid or man-made screw-ups.

close mindedness.

People cant believe beyond the two inches in front of their faces.

Its common sense. Anyone that thinks otherwise is truly self involved and highly pompous.

Its fact as far as I am concerned. We are here, it makes not sense to think in the vast universe we are alone.

Its plain stupid, but no one said that people could think or be analytical or critical in thought

Oh an by the way TV and MOVIES is how the government places the truth in plain view .(i.e nanotechnology, space stations, robotics)

Its how you get missed. If you pay attention you will see the broadcast of waves that make you watch make you buy, make you NOT question.

Thats why I dont watch TV.

but whatever people can believe what they want just dont come to me with your lost BS.

I know for certain because I am not stupid.

Its common sense like fire is hot

we think everything has to be just like us. and need what we need to live that is indoctrination its why wars are fought and people divide amongst races.

There is life out there

you dont need proof when you have instinct

It depends upon your school of thinking.

Logically, it's amazingly improbable that there is even life on our planet. Many thing must be aligned properly in a solar system for a planet to support biological lifeforms as we know them.

We really to lie upon the edge of a razor blade. Even modest changes can have drastic impacts upon life on earth.

Is it possible? Certainly. Is it probable? Not likely.

AS WE BARELY STEPPED OFF OUR PLANET.Take a look through Hubble's lens. Can you actually believe there is only us.There are billions of Galaxies and billions of more worlds out there. If you say its just us,your truly a genetic relation to the Neanderthals.Your the ignorant barbarians who perpetuate the killing and the wars of the world through your ignorance.

It's been said by some theoretical mathematicion or ruther that either the univers will be completely empty, or filled with life. That it won't be a middle of the road type of deal.

You can believe anything you want.

We haven't actually found any life on other planets, so we can't know for sure. I think there is, but that's just a theory.

Anyone would have to be a fool to think that out of all the galaxies that we are the only fortunate spiecies to inhabit this ****** up universe

Because there's no evidence so far.

Sure, it's an exiciting idea but, except for TV and movies, no proof - not even a little. Good luck!

I assume you mean sentient life as opposed to bacteria/microbes? Although that in itself is exciting.

Isn't so much that I don't believe in it. More that I accept the possiblity but would need proof first.
