A capsule or ship was sent in to space, many years ago... it contained data, which includes some mathematics, some music (that of Bach and of Pink Floyd) and some photos, along w/ other things... kind of like a Time Capsule, but in Space. Does anyone know the name of that ship or capsule? I remember it being referenced on the X-Files once.

if you was to lie down at noon so you were facing the sun, then go out in six months timeand lie in the same place at the same time, would you still be facing the sun.?
if the earth rotates once every day and goes around the sun once every year. then surly you'd be facing away from the sun the second time you did it.
if you don't understand this simple thing then get two balls, put a mark on one(earth),so the mark is facing the other one(sun).now rotate the earth as it moves around the sun and you'll see that when you get half way around, if you have done a complete number of turns with the earth, the mark will be facing away from the sun.

According to modern cosmological models, the visible universe appears to be made up of 4 - 6% "normal matter" while the remaining 94 - 96% is made up, disproportionately, of "dark matter" and "dark energy". Also, modern cosmology shows that immediately after the "big bang" there was only a tiny more matter created along with anti-matter. The ensueing annihilation of complimentary particles, converting matter and anti-matter into gamma radiation, left matter as the winning majority component of the current universe. But, is there any evidence that, actually, "annihilated" anti-matter still exist and is the constituants of "dark matter" and "dark energy"?

Back when man landed on the moon we were in the space race with the Soviet Union so I can see why NASA was in a big rush to beat them and why some believe the moon landing was a hoax. But if we really landed on the moon back then, when our knowledge in technology was a lot less then what it is now, then how come we haven't gone back to the moon? and How come NASA has so many problems with space shuttles now? I know NASA did the whole Mars thing but even that was rocky. Does anybody know of any shows or movies on this?

Isn't it because a lunar eclipse occurs more often than a solar eclipse or something?
