Yes it's very interesting. I've heard different versions of this. What's actually a good read and goes into some detail about this stuff is "the bible code II".

if you place yourself back in biblical times and saw a ufo how would you describe it? "it came from the heavens"

if the occupants came out how would you describe them? "gods"

if they showed you something as simple as a cigarete lighter what would you say? "they can perform miracles, creating fire from their hands"

there are many references in the bible that describe things that can be interpreted as aliens.

so i wouldn't say there is no evidence like a poster mentioned here. check out the link i am providing that seems to show that we have been visited throughout recorded history...

The creation theory seem more plausible due to the simple fact that humans do not have that connection to the earths magnetic field that all other animals have, which have evolved on this planet for millions of years. Animals can sense natural disasters and disruptions in the magnetic field so why cant humans? If we evolved for millions of years from primates we would be able to. No one is arguing the existence of evolution. All life evolves but that has very little to do with the origins of man. Science is a great thing but it has failed us many times before. Until you can go back in time and actually see it there will be no answer. So which is more accurate, blind faith or misguided science? We did evolve very fast, a little too fast to attribute it all to evolution.

Well, first off, GOD would DEFINATELY be considered an ALIEN by modern terms!

The question you have to ask is: Is a monkey your uncle or did you come from better (different) stock that that?

That is the question of religion vs. evolution.

Is your great, great, great grand pa a Chimp or Ape?

Is that what you think your linage was?

Be honest!

Do you really think you're a Monkey's Nephew?

If so, Darwin is right!

Do you think we were "created" (cloned, manufactured, whatever) in the image of "someone" (who is older, wiser, more powerful and more scientifically advanced than we are) ?

If God is an Alien and the Bible is at least partially true, then we are a FAILED experiment given a second chance to prove ourselves worthy.

Now, what you have to really ask is are you APE or something greater?

Remember that, next time you try to get a girl into a bed for no good reason other than to make yourself feel good.

well the evolution to us, homo sapiens was not "fast". also there is no proof of aliens and other intelligent civilizations that existed on earth before humans. Therefore there is no reason to believe that theory. Of course it is simply a theory and one only needs to find this proof of alien civilization on earth to provide some evidence of it. However, none has been found so there is much support behind it. Whereas the mainstream and more widely accepted theory of evolution has the support of the fossils and samples found in the earth. Of course the theory is modified and changed all the time.

There are several people and groups that have forwarded this idea about aliens being involved in or even driving the evolution of man or man's civilization.

Writers such as Von Daniken (Chariots of the Gods) and even quasi-religious groups such as the Raelians have proposed such alien activities.

However, the evidence for this involvement is definitely extremely sparse, non-existant, created, mis-interpreted or wishful thinking. There is no concrete evidence for alien involvement at any point in man's history or prehistory.

This lack of evidence puts the alien evolution hypothesis in the same realm as Biblical Creation or Flying Spaghetti Monsterism, and any curriculum that includes 'intelligent design' as an "alternative" theory of evolution must include this alien hypothesis as well.

It's an interesting theory... but take it from someone who has studied these theories most of his life... it's a load of unscientific crap. There are too many unknowns, too many gaps, and too many outlandish claims.

If the technology we have today cannot definitively prove alien life, then the probability of life outside of earth is slim to none. Besides, we share more than 99% of our DNA with the rest of the creatures on this planet. It is the last little bit that make us the humans we are.

I'm so tired of people who don't spell check, use periods, or capitilize correctly. If you live in this country, use the language accordingly!
And your theory is a bit out there. It might be true, but I do not agree with it. It sounds like a pathetic attempt to combine christianity and the existance of aliens, and oh yeah, they built the pyramids too.
