Density does not require gravity. You are thinking about weight. The density of a cigars exhaust is determined by the principal gasses involved, and is not much different than air. For the most part, cigar smoke rises due to heat. Warm air rises in a gravitational environment. So if you want to find out what the spaceship cigar response looks like, just go smoke a stogy in a sauna. Much the same result.
