Paranormal Phenomena

I am a bit sensetive to other worldly things..enough to know when something is true and when it is bunk.
I moved into my home in July. No feelings of anything "wrong". No spirits or other feelings of concern.
My computer room is on the 2nd floor int he eastern most room. I walk out of the room and go downstairs to fix something to eat. I come back up and the light is off.
It's happened 3 times so far. The switch is physically moved to the down position, so there isnt a short.
I live alone with a cat and 2 dogs.
The house was built in 1910 and is a typical Baltimore City rowhome. I love my house! Whjats the deal?

Hey GUYS!! Lol, I just embraced the fact that i am Psychic, and ya-da-ya-da, etc. Problem, Im an empath as well and yea' sometimes when i read people i start to feel like they feel 5 minutes later, it started after i did my friend. Everyone i talk to now (don't touch them) after a while i feel like they feel, if they have pains i have pains,if they feel sluggish i feel sluggish, tired i feel tired! Hyper i feel hyper! HELP! how do i block those emotions, i can control this crap...what do i do. Im getting too many migranes!! Thanks, God bless

I guess that believers in any of the mentioned claim some evidence to back up their beliefs in them.
Just wonder which has the largest body of legitimate scientific evidence to back it up.
For example the glowing orbs seen in some photos and videos could possibly be evidence for fairies?
So according to the evidence, which of the mentioned is most likely. Or do you believe some or all exist, and what do you use as the basis to justify the belief?

I have been doing it by meditating and calling out to ask if anyone is there. I though it wasn't working. Now in the bedroom where I have been doing it is always cold. My partner thinks I have bought a spirit into the house. We have the heating on and the house is warm and there's nothing wrong with the radiator in the bedroom but it doesn't stay warm for long in there. Could I have bought a spirit into the house?
I need advice seriouse answers only.

Strange things happen at my house. When I am near lights, they stop working right when I need them to come on,I sometimes wakeup with weird scratches on me, all of my family hears weird things in the house, have seen things move etc... Really odd stuff. There are 2 teenages in the house, maybe a poltergeist? We've talked to alot of people who moved from our town because their house was haunted, what do you think?

I'm just wondering if you guys have heard of the otherkin species? if you don't know or think we're "stupid" for studying then keep off I don't care if you don't believe but please no disrespect it's getting old
if you don't know what "otherkin" are
they are "humans" who have the soul and some features of other beings
ie some are angelics, demonics, dracon, dragons, ware animals, vampires and so on
if you know anyone who is or are yourself go on and pm or Im me I have several nonhuman friends and really enjoy studying it

I was watching a program the other day, in which this ghosthunter was actually trying to talk to a ghost and get it to respond. I wondered how he expected the ghost to talk without vocal cords, even if it did exist, how could it do anything without a brain?
I've listened to all of th bizarre theories on how ghost draw energy, etc, but all of this would have to be done by an intelligent organism that had some kind of brain to process information. So what is the theory? If they do exist, how can ghost behave like they supposedly do, carry on hauntings, etc without the ability to think?

The missus and I recently moved into our new home about a month ago.
When I woke up this morning I noticed a pen that had been on my desk was now across the floor, as if thrown.
I knew it couldn't have been my wife, as we were together all night.
I checked with the cats.
I asked "Mr. Sniffles" (not his real name) if he had noticed anything out of the ordinary. I trusted his mature judgement as he is eight. His reply: "Nope, the kitten (eight weeks) was surfing the web all night, and I...look man, when you get the phone bill, just pay it and don't ask questions...A cat has needs."
I asked "Miss Stink Pickle" (she has flatulence issues) and she told me; "Hey look, I'm trying to play Halo3 here. Anyway, how the f**k am I supposed to throw anything? I don't have opposable thumbs?"
I started to ask how she managed to use the controller, but that was a can of worms I didn't want to open.
So, do you think my house is haunted?

I am sure it would not be hard to find some real scientists to carry with them on one of their "investigations". most professors don't make that much, and would welcome the extra money, and I think they would do it out of interest.

I have noticed that a lot of the "phenomena" that they use to declare a place haunted, to me can be explained in other ways, other than a extraordinary one.

I think it would be great to have 3-4 real scientists, physicists, etc. with them on one of their live shows. I would like to see the scientists reactions to some of the phenomena that they observe.

Looks like if we are really searching for the truth, that this would be a good idea.

Or would it just destroy the show.

Let me first remind you that I am not at all psychotic. This is not denial either because I do know some crazy people post weird things on here. At random times this sound will go in my left ear, never my right. Like at random times, but never when I am asleep. It's just like this "mmmm" "mmmm" "hmmmm" sound like a spirit is trying to say something to me, but can't. What is it?

at my house. first it was just little clicking noises in my room. like someone was clicking their tongue on the roof of their mouth. then one night it was around 1am i was in bed trying to sleep, it sounded like a man was standing over me right next to my ear and very firmly said "no". i looked up(i was very shaken at that piont) no one was in my room. i laid back down and heard some one walking around in my room. i tried to figure out what i could have been, but found no answers.then a few months latter i was down stairs on the computer and i heard what sounded like people talking in the kitchen. i got up to look and know one was there. the next thing that happened was i was upstairs in my room (i was the only one awake) reading. i looked up and saw a little solid ball fly into my bookcase. i searched and didnt find any thing.
the next night i had my light off (again trying to sleep) and i heard a womans voice say "hush''................ details coming hang on.

I wonder how Ghost Hunters,.TAPS...and all those other groups go to foreign countries and understand what the ghosts are saying. Do they take an interpreter with them? Or do all ghosts speak English? when i was really small maybe 4 i was in my room and woke up to find a huge revolving yellowish looking light on my wall..like a door and i couldnt open my door to get out, but i remeber vividly pounding and screaming for help..nobody helped me..the next day i told my mom and she was like..maybe it was a tow truck in the parking lot or something..but to this day 22 yrs later i say it was a door!
