Actually, there was an episode of TAPS about 2 weeks ago that had a woman on it that had the urn with her sister's ashes in it in her living room. Since the urn has been in the house she has actually noticed more paranormal activity in her house. And, TAPS was able to document some of this activity. They were able to catch of an evp of someone saying a nickname that only the deceased sister knew.

No, but I have noticed a marked decline in paranormal activity since I stopped inviting highly suggestive, gullible, and just plain stupid people over to my house.
However, oddly enough my stress, and need to severely strangle the piss out of people has diminished as well.

i might attempt to locate the history of your place. per possibility you could decide why you're experiencing all this in case you knew who lived there. in the journey that your mattress is shaking, try shifting it to a various nook of the room or % a various section to sleep. Has your lady pal and step-daughter experienced any of the mystical interest? in simple terms curious... sturdy success.

I would expect it to be just the opposite. I'd think if you brought someones remains into your house...their spirit would follow. You know the Catholic Church kinda does this ..or at least used to. In the altar..they had a "relic" of a saint. I don't know if that was for protection...or to draw the saint to come there. Some of them have the bodies of saints buried in the church....or right outside in a cemetery. I'm not sure what the purpose is. Maybe someone on here will say. Guess I could make it a question..

I've had an urn in my house for a long time and I've had no paranormal activity. It must work!

I have my grandma's ashes in the house, but it appears to be business as usual for the ghost kitty and WWII fighter pilot who roam the halls of our home. I'm O.K. with it though, because it wouldn't be the same without them around!
By the way, are you aware that the nickname you are using, Am, is a vulgar Turkish swear word for vagina, ranking up there with the p word and c word. I just thought you might want to know. ;)

It's possible the presence of the urn made changed your perception of your environment, causing you to *notice* fewer things that you would normally assume are paranormal in nature.

If there was activity before, but now there is less, it may be they have left due to this. Or they may give you the respect to not bother you.
