souls go when we die? Souls are eternally young, they do not die with the body.

Its not up to me to prove that a "soul" exsists.
It is up to you to prove one doesn't exsist.
Yes, I opened a can of worms(:-), now I want the skeptics to give me proof!

you just opened a can of worms from the scientific athiests, and skeptics, shhhhhhhhhh hear them? they are coming to take you away little girl. LOL dont let them push you around. Lets put it this way, we all will find out when we die. for me its a win win situation, I believe there is a God and have been saved, so if I die and there is nothing, well I still lived a good life, but if I die and there is a supreme being, well then I get to stick around. If I was athiest, its 100% whats gonna happen upon death. you just die.
I would guess that depends on you idea of truth.

I don't believe in hell, that is something made up to scare the child mind in all of us. I think living is the closest thing to hell. The separation from the great spiritual whole, god, the creator or what ever you want call it, is what living is. When we die we go back to the whole being. If you don't get it right then you keep coming back until you do get it right. Ghosts are souls that got of the normal track for what ever reason. When you die and you have gotten it right, then you go to the place where all pure souls go, the whole, god, bliss. You no longer fear, no longer feel pain, no hunger, just the joy of the one.
When you strip down religions of all the flash and glitter that is what you end up with. We are all the same, you just call it a different name.

Your argument relies on an unverified premise--that souls exist. You say, "Souls are eternally young, they do not die with the body." What are you basing this assumption on?

The "rather be safe than sorry" position (aka Pascal's Wager) is silly. Nobody believes in god and goes through the motions "just in case". Here is what I think if Pascal's Wager:

All I know is I don't know.
EDIT...I see I got 2 thumbs down for "not knowing".lol
So I'll say "something"..How can souls stay eternally young...but people say people have "old souls"? And Sylvia says we'll all be "thirty"...yet spirits of all ages appear to us.Maybe our souls wander the earth. If so..why do so few ghosts appear? (Sorry..I have more questions than answers)

yes we do have souls and i know we do go somewhere, but where i can not say either can anyone else, the only way to find out is when we die...i know theres an after life, but im guessing theres alot of different plains of existence for all of our souls...just going by peoples different experiences with NDE,s and death bed visions and so on.....

I actually wrote an essay on the particular topic of the existence of ghosts. My theory in the essay is that even thought you can't see ghosts or this case other human souls, doesn't mean that they don't exist. It has been proven that gravity exists but you can't see gravity and if you can't see gravity but it still exists, why can't ghosts exist?

There is no evidence of any such thing as a soul. So there is no need to ask where it goes. Where does a fire go when it goes out? death is simply the cessation of bio-chemical processes which constitute life.

Sorry, nuff said, but this scientific atheist skeptic does not consider the truth to be so equivocal.

Why waste your time worrying about such things when there are more important things in life to worry about. Things like friends, family, and life it self. I say while you are still alive live life to the fullest. Like they say you only have one life, enjoy it while you can.

Well I can answer that as simply as it is, we go to heaven or hell, and honestly if you don't believe in heaven or hell, then I guess you will see when you die. I have always told people, why would you doubt it? Wouldn't yourather be safe than sorry? I know that there is a God, a heaven and a hell, so i know where my soul will end up.

God Bless and Good Luck...
