With all the ideas being considered to remove CO2 from our atmosphere to slow global warming, how about not producing it in the first place. Make soft drink companies pull CO2 from the atmosphere for their products,talk about CO2 storage systems, how many soft drink containers are out there at any moment!

A 0.5kg stone on the end of a length of a string is whirled round in a horizontal circle, radius 2m on a level frictionless table. The stone moves at a constant speed of 7m/s.Calculate

(a) The stones acceleration, stating its direction,

(b) the tension in the string,

(c)the work done by the tension during ten revolutions, explaining your answer

I've attempted part a and b using a=v2/r and tension = mg, i dont know if im right in these 2 but i dont have any idea how to do (c).

I wondered if some one can help me and show working out the calks to this question...

A contractor has to excavate for foundations in an area for which there are no plans of existing services. It is anticipated that he may cut across one or more of the service lines whilst excavating. The following probabilities have been calculated for each of the following services:

Water supply - 0.08
Gas - 0.05
Telephone Cable – 0.04
Drainage – 0.12
Electricity – 0.05

Calculate the probability of cutting across

a) at least one of the services
b) both water and drainage
c) electricity or telephone cable

 I have the answers but I don’t know how to get them no putting them on here so I can check your answers too.
